Cynthia Ntombikayise Sani

Born 16 November 1958 in Daveyton, Johannesburg • Based in Delft, Cape Town

Cynthia Ntombikayise Sani is a dedicated and versatile community leader, executive, and social entrepreneur with decades of experience spanning financial administration, early childhood development (ECD), international women’s empowerment, and urban agriculture.

Driven by a profound passion for child development, community safety, and economic self-reliance, Ms. Sani has a proven track record of mobilizing resources to address systemic challenges facing women, youth, and vulnerable populations in South Africa's urban environments.

Appointed as Convenor of Empowerment SHE Africa International by the President of the Africa World Focus Assembly, Ms. Sani champions women and youth development in crucial industrial sectors—including heavy earthmoving machinery, farming, and infrastructure. In 2025 and 2026, she spearheaded programs to train young women to operate digger-loaders and bulldozers, actively seeking corporate placements with giants like Bell Equipment and Case Construction.

At the grassroots level, through Woman For Action (WOFA) and Naledi People's Advancement, she anchored critical emergency relief during the 2020 lockdowns, coordinating massive food relief distributions for senior citizens, children, and abandoned animals in Delft, Wesbank, and Dunoon.
